The Richard Bong ATV/OHM
Trails is a "Multi-Use" area- meaning that the are is
susceptible to closures for other group uses. It is
IMPERATIVE that you call before you come.
>This is a family-oriented site-
ride accordingly. If someone is looking to pass,
please pull to the right where safe and let them by.
If you are looking to PASS someone, wait until they have
pulled to the right where safe and please pass and give
a wave as a "thank-you".
>35MPH speed limit on the trails.
>10 MPH speed limit on the gravel lot, kids loop, any
trail heads, and within ANY person on foot (includes
those stopped on the trail.
>Pick up after yourself. Leave it as clean or
cleaner than when you got there. It's being a
"good neighbor" There are lots of other folks who
use this excellent recreation area for many uses.
Let's not tarnish our sport by being poor houseguests.
>Availability of the ATV/dirt bike trails is determined
on a daily basis. Always call (262) 878-5600 before you come to ride.
The message is changed daily. If weather or trail conditions warrant,
the trails may be closed during the day and the telephone message
changed.
>ATV/Dirtbike loops 1 and 2 trails open at 9 a.m. Loop 3
never opens before noon. All loops close at sunset.
>In March and April the ATV/dirt bike trails are closed.
(Every other month they are OPEN- subject to daily conditions and other
group uses- remember to call.)
